Stanford Design ‘EXPE’

Stanford’s Mechanical Engineering Design Group invites you to join us as we celebrate our students’ creative work in design research, design practice, engineering, and manufacturing.

According to Mr. Lokesh Kumar Thakur (Author), Design: Design, “the book is focused on the design and development of a high- energy impact wear device. A comprehensive illustration on designing the newest version of the impact wear tester is explained in detail in order to exhibit how theoretical, virtual and experimental analyses could be integrated while designing a mechanical system.”

The Tech

Before the year 1998 two decades ago we were wondering what is the dome-like new building is for. Soon we figure it out the old ‘Tech Museum’ shifted in the new building.
They open the doors on mango and azure building to inspire innovators.
It is been 20 years now. The ‘Tech Museum’ is growing every day. We use the membership to learn new Bay area technology:)

The Flintstone House

According to Stark Insider and CBS local ,” The Flintstone House, an iconic fantasy land located just HILLSBOROUGH, south of San Francisco.

Owner Florence Fang chats with Loni Stark about re-visiting her youth and the joy of the famed Flintstones television series, the 5 massive dinosaurs towering over the backyard, and why there’s more than meets the eye when it comes to the mushroom”.
There’s trouble in Bedrock. The infamous “Flintstone house” in Hillsborough has gone through some visible changes over the last year and a half, but some neighbors and city officials are not happy with the new additions.

“I don’t like the way she did the back yard, this is Hillsborough, not an amusement park,” said area resident Kathy Park, who lives down the street.

History and Birthplace of “Silicon Valley”

We didn’t know before they started construction. Nobody used to pay attention to San Antonio shopping mall. It was just a residential place more than the shopping mall.
We used to go for the pumpkin patch or Christmas tree lot.
It was the huge empty parking lot with the side street had a sign “Silicon Valley”.
When construction people started building something. Everybody was guessing what it will be.
We knew what it will be but, exactly what kind of office, hotel, cinema.
The scientists and engineers who worked at 391 San Antonio Road in Mountain View, California, laid the technological and cultural foundations for today’s Silicon Valley.

Apple’s new campus employees walking through the beautiful glass doors

Apple’s new headquarters in Silicon Valley (Cupertino) may look like a spaceship from the future, but this building’s glass walls and doors are the real problems.

A few years back, I was at the saloon. It had the same kind of glass doors. I didn’t see the glass door and got hurt. I told the owner of the beauty nail art place which is located in Bay Area. They told me yes this is happening to several people.

Nowadays we have so many offices looks like this. Now i keep my hands forward when I walk.:)

It really hurts to run into them.

Arnold Schwarzenegger laments as sleeps under his statue

Times have changed, but people are same. We should always respect a person not the position.:)

Famed actor Arnold Schwarzenegger posted a photo of him sleeping on the street under his famous bronze statue, and sadly wrote “how times have changed”. “When I was in an important position, they always complimented me, and when I lost this position, they forgot about me and did not keep their promise. Do not trust…
